Fair City actor Maclean Burke launched a Garth Brooks show at The Gaiety Theatre – and he made sure to get our attention.
The Dubliner is playing Garth in Fiona Looneys Are You There Garth, It’s Me Margaret.
The play takes a fun look into the Garth Brooks fiasco which took place this time last year when his sold put Croke Park gigs were cancelled due to licencing issues.

Maclean was joined by a real horse for the launch as he posed in a cowboy hat with his guitar.
The play also features Noble actress Deirdre O’Kane who will play Margaret, a house wife who is a massive Garth Brooks fan that talks to his poster each day in her kitchen.
The play is said to be a laugh out loud show that tells the story of the infamous concerts that never went ahead.

Are You There Garth, It’s Me Margaret opens in the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin on October 13th and runs until October 25th.
