Pat Kenny has said Jeremy Clarkson style fights have happened within RTE.
The TV presenter, who worked for the broadcaster for four decades, admitted that he is seen incidents between RTE producers and employees.
“I mean I would compare RTE to the BBC and over the years I have seen fisticuffs,” he said on his Newstalk radio show.
“In Madigan’s pub, famously, I saw a producer kick one of the bosses.”

“Now drink had been taken. It’s not okay, but sometimes ructions happen and people dust themselves down and they apologise or go to rehab or whatever,” he added.
When contacted for comment, RTE said they had “nothing to add but would “leave the swashbuckling tales to Pat.”
