Operation Transformation star Jean Tierney just welcomed a healthy baby boy at the University Maternity Hospital Limerick on Wednesday morning.
The TV star broke the hearts of the nation when she opened up on the show about her experience with miscarriage.
The team leader described how she tragically lost her baby girl following an ectopic pregnancy.
She left Operation Transformation early after discovering she was pregnant earlier this year.
At the time, she said: “It is very early.”
“While it is not the norm to be telling people before 12 weeks, we are telling people because there were two options on the programme.”
“I could have disappeared from the show, but there would have been a lot of speculation or I don’t know what and that would cause me a lot of stress.”
The mum to be then left the show with a healthy, tailored pregnancy meal plan.
