After Sharon Ni Bheolain took on the Ice Bucket challenge – now Miriam O’Callaghan is willing to give it a go.
But the RTE star wants to get even more sponsorship than her Montrose pal before she’ll take it on.
The 54-year-old is willing to take on the charity challenge after Sinead Kennedy and Kathryn Thomas nominated her.
But Miriam said she won’t get cold and icy on this week’s Saturday Night with Miriam until at least €2,000 is raised.
Also taking it on: Oliver Callan will get icy with Miriam
She said: “On Saturday Night with Miriam, Oliver Callan will be taking the Ice Bucket Challenge. He was nominated by Sharon Nà Bheoláin.
“Oliver has then decided to nominate me and since I have already been nominated by a number of others who did it during the week including Sinead Kennedy and Kathryn Thomas and most importantly by the IMNDA themselves, I will be doing it!
“So if we can raise €2,000 you will see us both getting an ice cold bucket of water poured over our heads on the programme. And it is all for an incredible cause – The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association, a charity I have always supported.”
