Nathan Carter has revealed an interest in competing in the Eurovision.
The singer has been nominated for five categories in tonight’s Irish Country Music Awards on RTE and is also set to perform at it.
“If the right song came along and I was free, I guess I would do it,” the Wagon Wheel singer admitted.

The Down native had never thought about the Eurovision before, but it came to his attention after this year’s contest when fans compared him to a contestant.
“Never really thought about it before.
“I got a lot of requests at this years [Eurovision] from fans,” the 25-year-old revealed on 2FM’s Breakfast Republic.
“I think one of the acts that was performing from a different country apparently looked a bit like myself and was singing a bit of a country song,” he added.
