Meeting the family: Jonathan Rhys Meyers brings fiance Mara Lane home to Ireland

Hollywood star Jonathan Rhys Meyers has brought his fiance Mara Lane home to Ireland to meet his family.

The Tudors actor, 37, was confirmed to be engaged to the film producer in December after dating each other for just nine months.

Now Mara has come on her third visit to Ireland to see his family in Dublin as an engaged woman. And Mara, pictured with the star’s gran, said: “Feeling super loved and blessed up. J has the best family.”

And Mara has revealed that she is completely “in love” with Ireland and could definitely see herself moving here.

She said: “I am so in love with all things Ireland. Third time here and every visit more magical, definitely could live in Ireland.”

They jetted into Ireland from Hawaii – and have kept themselves busy during their visit with family gatherings and visits to the pub.

Homecoming: Jonathan brought Mara home to meet the family

Loved-up Mara, who works as an actress and film producer, began dating Jonathan in January last year and has been smitten with him ever since.

And Mara said she is looking forward to a 2015 filled with more “awesomeness” after their engagement last year.

She added: “Ready for you 2015! Thank you ahead of time for already happened goodness and all future awesomeness.

“May we continue to be transmitters of love, have great new adventures and experiences and have productive yet peace filled days.”

Before dating Mara, Jonathan was in a relationship with student Reena Hammer for eight years.

Sources previously revealed that despite their short time together, Mara and Jonathan are completely smitten.

They said “They have been together since January. They are so in love. He is in a great place and Mara and Jonathan really complement one another.”
