Maura Higgins has revealed that pre Love Island, she wan’t big on the Irish dating scene.
The Longford born model explained that before entering the villa, she had only ever been on one date.
“To be honest I don’t have much dating experience,” she told The Irish Mail on Sunday.
“I only had one first date before I went into the villa so it would be hard for me to answer that.”
“I was in two long-term relationships before that.”
Maura also opened up about her refreshingly straight-talking ways, explaining that she has “no filter” when it comes to giving her opinion.

“I just say what I am thinking, there is no filter with me.”
“I’m brutal with my friends, you have to be,” she said.
“I like my friends to be brutal with me as well.”
