It seems there’s no love lost between X Factor judges Louis Walsh and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini with the Irish pop guru labelling the Girls Aloud star “lazy” and “irrelevant”.
According to reports, the Mayo native was left unimpressed with the Geordie beauty on last years series.
“Cheryl wasn’t great last year. She’s sometimes lazy and lacks energy,” he admitted.

“She needs to give more, she can give so much more. She’s irrelevant these days,” he told Heat Magazine.
While he slammed Cheryl’s performance on the ITV series, Louis reckons he has always been a “fun” addition to the show.
“I know people say the same about me, but apart from anything, I am fun and I have a rapport with Simon.”

However, Cheryl wasn’t about to go down without a fight and the Newcastle native has responded to her ex co-worker’s jibes.
“I am beginning to wonder if Louis has some kind of an obsession with me.. I mean this is every year whether I am or am not a part of the show,” she said.
“This is the same man asking me what he should say to contestants on our way to the stage because ‘he doesn’t know.”
