Louis Walsh has revealed One Direction can definitely carry on without Zayn Malik.
The X Factor judge admitted he was shocked by the news that Zayn had quit the boyband’s world tour due to stress.
However, even if the 22-year-old were to leave the group completely, Louis thinks they will manage just fine without him.
“Even if Zayn was to leave completely, it doesn’t have to be the end of the band,” he said.

“The same thing happened to Take That and to the Spice Girls and to Westlife.”
“They all lost a member of the band and it doesn’t necessarily spell the end,” he told the Star.
“I think they can still continue on without Zayn if he decides to leave,” he revealed.
“I think they will continue, there’s no sign of any of the rest of the band being unhappy.”

“Touring adds a lot of pressure especially if you’ve got problems back home so maybe all he needs is a break,” Louis explained.
One Direction fans have been worried about the future of the band following the news of Zayn’s departure.
Bookies have slashed the lads odds of splitting this year from 8-1 to 4-1.
