Keith Duffy has stopped filming on a new movie so he can star in the Christmas panto.
The Coronation Street star has signed up to play the baddie in the University of Limerick panto this Christmas, even though he was filming new movie The Black Prince.
“I was doing a film called The Black Prince which is the story of Duleep Singh who was the rightful heir to the throne in Punjab,” Keith said.

“I play an Irish rebel called Padriag O’Casey…I’m not finished yet though, we had another week of shooting.
“And then it got delayed and then the rehearsals for the panto started so once I finish this I’ve to go back to the UK to finish,” he told the Herald.
Keith will star alongside Fair City star George McMahon and singer Leanne Moore in JAck and The Beanstalk this Christmas.
Meanwhile Keith brushed off the drama of Twink being let go from the panto for “artistic differences”.
“It’s nothing to do with me, I was hired as an independent, as far as I’m concerned.

“I’m getting on great with the cast, I don’t even know what happened and I’m not interested in all that.
“I know Adele a long, long time and there’s no hard feelings between us. I don’t have any issues with anybody,” he said.
