While over 500,000 tickets had been released for a special mass with Pope Francis in Phoenix Park (reportedly only 130k attended) a host of stars came together for Stand 4 Truth; a movement in support of victims of the Church.
Thousands of people turned out at the Garden of Remembrance in Dublin, where stars like Hozier, Roisin O and Brian Kennedy performed.
Author Marian Keys also spoke to the crowds, while stars like James Kavanagh were spotted in the audience.

Many shared videos of Hozier giving a haunting performance of Take Me To Church; a song focused on the failings of the Cathloic Church.
“I’m not condemning the church or religion on the whole, just that one policy [the anti-same-sex marriage policy], which seems so wrong to me. And obviously, I’m not alone in thinking that,” Hozier previously said of the song.
Roisin O also performed with mum Mary Black and Brian Kennedy gave an emotional rendition of Imagine by John Lennon.
