Irish Love Island star Kaila Troy has revealed she “got close” to Teddy Soares in Casa Amor.
The Dublin native wasn’t brought back to the main villa by any of the boys, and was therefore dumped from the show.
The 28-year-old has since revealed she had a secret connection with Teddy, but said their conversations were not aired.
Speaking to The Daily Star, Kaila said: “I spoke to all the guys, but it was Teddy that I liked the most and we spoke a lot!”
“I had a lot of conversations with him, I mean, they didn’t show it, but I had a lot of conversations with him.”
“We used to work out together and talking and just talking about life, you know the whole shebang. We had a lot of good conversations.”
The DJ claimed Teddy started to discuss his connection with Faye near the end of the Casa Amor experience, but told Kaila that he liked her and Clarisse Juliette.
She said: “He would be saying things, he even said to me and Clarisse that he liked me and he liked Clarisse.”
“Then he would say he liked my confidence and everything. So I had a conversation with him at the end, like where’s your head at?”
“He then started talking about Faye and I thought ‘why would I ask you about Faye? I’m not concerned about another female. I’m here getting to know you, I’m not going to ask you questions about someone else.'”
Kaila claimed a lot of the guys, including Teddy, were “scared” to be viewed bad by the public, and that they became more aware of themselves when the cameras were rolling.
In the Mad Movies challenge, a clip was shown of Teddy telling Clarisse that he was “sexually attracted” to her.
Faye erupted at Teddy after seeing the clip, and the dramatic scenes got over 24,000 Ofcom complaints.
The couple eventfully worked through their issues and after becoming official, they came in third place on the show.
