Holly Carpenter posts inspiring message about body image

Holly Carpenter has posted an inspiring message about body image on her Instagram.

The former Miss Ireland has admitted that she’s sick of some of the terminology used regarding women’s bodies online, and said that we should never be taught that there’s a right or wrong body type.

“Scrolling through Instagram in bed at night it’s hard to avoid ‘Fitspiration’ photos of ‘perfect’ bikini bodies. I follow a lot of VS Angels & female athletes on here & I find their hard work & dedication inspiring,” she wrote.

scrolling through Instagram in bed at night it’s hard to avoid “Fitspiration” photos of “perfect” bikini bodies ? I follow a lot of VS Angels & female athletes on here & I find their hard work & dedication inspiring ??? what I’m not a fan of however is some of the terminology I see online with regards to women’s bodies?? “strong not skinny” / “real women have curves” etc. ? (I hate the term “real women”) pretty confusing for the young girls who look in the mirror at night ? we shouldn’t be taught that there’s a right or wrong body type ✋? no two bodies are the same and I think it’s time for less comparison & more self love ❤️ focus on loving the body that you have rather than beating yourself up over the body you wish you had ❤️ looking after yourself doesn’t just mean eating clean & going to the gym, it also means speaking to yourself in a kind voice ??? don’t be so hard on yourself ? #loveyourself #youareenough #behappy
