EXCLUSIVE: Lucy Kennedy opens up about the big changes coming to Living With Lucy

Lucy Kennedy has opened up about the revamping of Living With Lucy – as the Virgin Media Ireland show is set to return, but in a totally different way.

No Lucy will “lodge” with her celebrity guests in Lodging With Lucy, where she and guests will hang out in a luxury venue, where they will get into deep conversations, from a distance of course.

Speaking on this week’s episode of Goss Chats, Lucy said show bosses picked a “neutral location” so Lucy and guests wouldn’t have to mix in each other’s houses, making it easier to adhere to COVID-19 restrictions.

“Now I’ve got myself a posh mansion in Meath and I’ve got myself a chef, a hot chef,” she laughed.

“It’s great, I don’t think the viewer will notice the difference. In that I’m still me…It will feel the same way.

“I’m still asking silly questions and relaxing them and making them feel comfy, and then I spend the day with them or they have the option of spending the night. So it’s up to the celebrity.”

Lucy already revealed that footballer Paul McGrath is one of the six celebrity guests, while a prominent politician is also appearing on the series.

The TV presenter admitted she thinks meeting in the new venue has gone down better with celebs.

“I think people prefer this in a way, because I’m not looking through their knickers, and they can completely relax.

“Like people have put extensions onto their house, knowing that we were arriving for Living With Lucy, and I mean full blown extensions. Conservatories were being erected as we arrived.

“This way people can kind of chill and we are all on mutual ground.”
