Enda Kenny wants Ireland to talk about porn.
The Taoiseach spoke out recently that he thinks there needs to be a national discussion on how porn is damaging young minds.
“Our young people are growing up imagining that what they see on the screen might be normal sexual behaviour,” he said.

According to the Irish Independent, the politician said young people who were spending more time online were being subjected to an “avalanche” of material online, including pornography.
“There has to be a discussion about this in terms of families and children and the kind of society that is evolving,” he said at an event to launch a free helpline for the victims of crime.
“What used to be termed as ‘lads magazines’ have grown to be replaced with pornography that’s as ubiquitous as it is damaging.
“Our young people that are growing up, imagining what they see on a screen is normal sexual behaviour, there has to be a discussion about this.”
Of course, there was an outcry online about the Mayo man’s speech – and people had very mixed feelings about it.
So we need a ‘national conversation’ about porn but we’ll keep ignoring the need for legal abortion, sounds fab @EndaKennyTD #repealthe8th

The irony of Enda Kenny talking about his concerns for young minds.
How about treating teachers and young minds education with respect.— Mark Malone (@soundmigration) October 27, 2016
