Daniel Radcliffe has met back up with the Dublin GAA minor team – two years on from their last encounter.

The Harry Potter star ended up on the lash with the Baby Dubs after bumping into three of them when walking down Grafton Street.

Yesterday Daniel told Goss.ie he hadn’t been in contact with the lads since going on the lash – but met up with them after his Irish premiere last night to be presented with a GAA jersey.

And then: Daniel with the lads at the house party

The Dublin GAA said on Twitter: “The big step from Hogwarts to Hill16! Dubs fan Daniel Radcliffe caught up with some old friends.”

They ended up partying after hearing the lads had beaten Meath to claim the All-Ireland title just hours earlier – and the Hollywood star asked them to show him the “Irish experience”.

At the time, Dublin back Conor Mulally said: “Some man came up to us. He was small enough, and wearing a hat and he just started talking to us.

“We didn’t really take too much notice of him at the time, just general conversation. It suddenly hit us who it was – Daniel Radcliffe was standing beside us.

“We kept talking for ages. He asked for the Irish experience. He was stone-cold sober being an absolute gent about it.

“He was keen on coming back to the captain’s house to enjoy what we’d achieved. The GAA thing hit him and he was just over the moon.

“I had to use an umbrella to keep in front of his face so we wouldn’t attract attention from the people coming out of Copper Face Jacks and stuff after a night out.”

Following their partying, Daniel was forced at the time to beg for cash off them at 5am to get a taxi back to the Shelbourne Hotel where he was staying.
