Amy Huberman has a new comedy series on the way – and she’s writing the screenplay.

Not only a famed actress but the Dubliner is also an author and has written two books.

The mother-of-two revealed that she is planning to turn her second book, I Wished For You, into a series.

“I’ve been writing a screenplay of the second book for a couple of years in between babies and acting jobs so that’s been a long process,” she said.

The actress has had a successful 2016 as she returned to the small screen in RTE’s comedy Can’t Cope, Won’t Cope where she played the hilarious Kate.

“We got some funding for a comedy series so I’ll have to sit down and write that,” she told Ian Dempsey on his Today FM breakfast show.

Amy also stars in RTE’s newest drama Striking Out and her co-star Rory Keenan, who stars as her ex on screen, is also her real life ex.
