Aisling O’Loughlin has admitted the entertainment business is cruel for labelling her as an “axed presenter.”
The TV3 star’s time on Xpose came to an end when it was revealed that she, Peter O’Riordan and Lisa Cannon were dropped from the show in August 2016.
“At the end of the month, the new line-up for Xpose was announced  and henceforth, I’ve been described as ‘axed TV presenter,'” she said.

Since leaving the show, Aisling has had to consider her next career move after working almost two decades in TV.
“What a cruel business it is. Was it something I said?” she wrote on her website Exquisite.ie.
“This year I had to figure out a plan B. I wasn’t going back to TV3 after all.
“The past 16 years had been spent learning my trade. I was institutionalised. What the hell was I going to do with the rest of my life?”
