Cecelia Ahern has revealed that her latest movie adaptation for her novel Flawed has already confirmed a sequel.
It was revealed yesterday that Warner Bros. had optioned the book for a movie adaptation, but now the famed P.S. I Love you author has admitted that they have also bought the sequel.
“Thankfully, Warner Bros. and Wendy Finerman Productions, who are the same team that bought P.S. I Love You, have optioned it – which is great,” she said on The Nicky Byrne Show on 2FM.

“And it’s actually a series, first is Flawed and the sequel is Perfect, so they’ve bought two books and they’re writing it now.
Flawed is set in a world where anyone dubbed disobedient is deemed “flawed”, branded with F tattoos and forced to live as second-class citizens.
When a popular teenager who’s living a perfect life attempts to stand up for a “flawed” passenger on a bus, she’s not only deemed “flawed” herself, but becomes an unlikely poster girl for a growing rebellion.

Cecelia also revealed that she thinks the book/film’s topic is timely, and that she’s glad pre-production is moving forward.
“I think its really timely as well and represents a lot of what’s happening at the moment, and yeah I’m really excited.
“They’re writing it so its happening, because sometimes these things get optioned and nothing ever happens,” she added.
