Louis Walsh gets himself into hot water after insisting Belfast is 'no fun'

Louis Walsh has got himself into a spot of bother with the people of Belfast after he said the city was “no fun” compared to Dublin.

When asked if he would ever live in the County Down city, the Hometown manager, who has a home in Dublin, was adamant he would never swap cities.

“God no. It’s no fun up there. Honestly Dublin is a more fun place than Belfast,” he said.

Fun: Louis insisted that Dublin is more fun than Belfast | NICKY JOHNSTON

Speaking on The Vinny Hurrell Show on BBC Radio Ulster, the former X Factor judge and Mayo native insisted he believed the Fair City was “more fun” than Belfast.

“The people. They are more fun. I am telling you the truth, I don’t care, I am just telling you what I really think,” he admitted.

“It’s more fun there. That’s why you come down every weekend because it’s great fun down there. There are more places to go and more things to do. Dublin is a much more fun city than Belfast.”
