Meghan Markle breaks her silence on her and Prince Harry’s ‘rebrand’

Meghan Markle has broken her silence on her and Prince Harry’s new rebrand.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex launched a new version of their website this week, Sussex.com.

Their previous website, Archewell, now automatically redirects to the Sussex.com homepage, which features a photo of the couple alongside the text: “The Office of Prince Harry & Meghan, The Duke & Duchess of Sussex.”

The relaunched version of their website reads: “The Office of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, is shaping the future through business and philanthropy.”

“This includes: THE ARCHEWELL FOUNDATION, ARCHEWELL PRODUCTIONS, patronages, ventures, and organizations which receive the support of the couple, individually and/or together.”

Meghan has since released a statement on their decision to change their website.

Referencing the company who built their new site, she said: “There is a reason I have worked with Ryan and the talented team at Article for a decade: their attention to detail, their creativity and care, and the thoughtful approach to design as well as to the user experience.

“They’re not just designers; they are collaborators who elevate your ideas into visual identities. They’re a very special company. Plus they’re Canadian, so I’m a fan.”

Meghan previously worked with the digital agency on her lifestyle blog The Tig, which she ran from 2014 – 2017, before she married Prince Harry.

In individual biographies on their new website, Harry is described as a “humanitarian, military veteran, mental health advocate, and environmental campaigner”, while Meghan is described as a “feminist and champion of human rights and gender equity”.

Alongside their rebrand, Meghan has also announced that she’s launching a new podcast with Lemonada Media.

This comes after she and Prince Harry ended their deal with Spotify last year.

Speaking about her new podcast deal, Meghan said: “I’m proud to now be able to share that I am joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting.”

“Being able to support a female founded company with a roster of thought provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024.”

The launch of their new website comes just days after Prince Harry rushed back to the UK to visit his father King Charles, following his shock cancer diagnosis.
