A former X Factor judge is “being lined-up” for Celebrity Big Brother.
Sharon Osbourne, who was a judge on the show from 2004 to 2007, has now been linked to the reality TV show line-up.
A new report has revealed that the 71-year-old is set to fly to the UK from the US next week.
A source told The Sun: “Landing Sharon is a huge coup for the series, especially as she has such a strong on-screen partnership with Louis.
“She isn’t afraid to say what’s on her mind and has a wealth of showbiz stories up her sleeves.
“She is guaranteed entertainment and sure to be a hit with viewers.”
Following reports he was in advanced talks with ITV producers, insiders have claimed the former Louis has landed himself a six-figure deal.
A “close associate” told The Sun: “He is one of the most intriguing signings for Celebrity Big Brother because he has almost half a century of experience in showbusiness to recall when he enters the house.”
“Viewers will be most interested in his memories of his time on The X Factor and working with huge music acts including Westlife and Boyzone.
“But there may be a few celebrities outside the house who are feeling nervous about what he might say, because Louis is notoriously outspoken.”
In response to claims Louis is set to appear on CBB, an ITV spokesman said: “All names are purely speculation.”
According to reports, producers are hoping to keep the full line-up a secret until the live launch show on March 4.
The big names already linked to the line-up include Love Island’s Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Kate Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith, and Amir Khan’s wife Faryal Makhdoom.
