Anton Savage has been left wishing he’d renamed his new Today FM show after discovering its new Twitter hashtag: #ASS.
The ex-Ireland AM presenter and his team were unaware of how the Anton Savage Show would be abbreviated online before the first show.
But after the 37-year-old found out, he said: “The decision not to rename the show may have been a mistake”.

It came after his first show on Monday after taking over Ray D’Arcy’s chair at the station.
He managed to bag Hollywood star Kevin Spacey for one of his first interviews – but revealed not all went to plan.
Instead Anton was being clamped in the St Stephen’s Green carpark near Today FM’s studios after failing to return to pay for his parking, following a 2am arrival to prepare.

Meanwhile, Anton has admitted he isn’t too worried about seeing his listeners go up, and has given himself 18 months to get any lost audience back.
He said: “I’m not concerned about the JNLR figures at the outset. I think when you have any slot with a new person there’s inevitably a dip.
“Ray had a hugely loyal audience so I’d be surprised that in the first 12 months there wasn’t some kind of dip.”
