Ray D’Arcy has convinced his wife Jenny Kelly to return to work – to produce his new RTE show.
Last May, she famously quit her role as producer and co-presenter of his Today FM show after 14 years to spend more time with their kids – seven-year-old Kate and Tom, two.
But Jenny has now decided it’s time to come back after Ray made the shock decision to move to RTE to take over Derek Mooney’s slot.

An RTE spokeswoman confirmed to Goss.ie that she has joined the State broadcaster with her husband, ahead of his first show on February 2.
And Jenny said that it was “going to be a fun 2015” after the massive move.
Will Hanafin, his other longtime radio producer is also joining him at RTE to reunite the three.
Ray and Jenny met in 2000 on his radio show and married last summer in a humanist ceremony.

Speaking last year as she quit Today FM in May, she said: “I decided I was going to hang up my mic for a while.
“I was thinking long and hard about it. I came back to work in January and I decided after 14 years working on the show, give or take a baby or two, that I wanted to spend a bit more time with the kids.
“It was all getting a bit hectic. You and I worked the same hours and we’re running out the door in the morning.”
