US billionaire Donald Trump blasted RTE’s Sean O’Rourke as an “asshole” after he asked him about his combover.
The American tycoon has invested millions here by buying Doonbeg Golf Club in Co Clare, where Glenda Gilson wed.
But Donald was left fuming after their interview became all about his hair.

He said: “Sean O’Rourke. That asshole from the radio show! This is what happened. We set up this interview. I had never heard of Sean O’Rourke.
“Everything was fine. He met me a day before and he was a nice guy. I was the greatest guy to come to Ireland, O’Rourke said. He asked about my hair.
“He took off my hair. This is my hair. It was a nasty interview. I chose Ireland and am spending a lot of money here — a $100 million course. I was not angry, I understood.

“It was not a nice interview. I told him ‘You’re an asshole!’ Trump said he had a great relationship with Noonan because of the cash he was spending.”
However an RTE spokeswoman said that Donald was actually happy after the interview.
She said: “Donald Trump turned to him after the interview and said I would have asked exactly the same thing.”
