One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush has opened up about her sexuality: “I can finally breathe now.”
The actress who was previously married to former co-star Chad Michael Murray has announced she is “queer and in love.”
The 41-year-old insisted that all of her previous partners knew she was also attracted to women.
In a new interview with Glamour magazine, Sophia revealed the truth behind her close relationship with athlete Ashlyn Harris.
The actress admitted that although she was friends with the 38-year-old since 2019, their romance did not blossom until 2023.
The 41-year-old was married to Grant Hughes for one year from 2022 until 2023.

Ashlyn was also married for nearly 4 years to her former teammate Ali Krieger before filing for divorce to be with Sophia.
Sophia admitted: “I didn’t expect to find love in this support system,”
“I don’t know how else to say it other than: I didn’t see it until I saw it.”
The Chicago PD actress added that she is “in love” with Ashlyn whom she started a romantic relationship with in October 2023.
Sophia also opened up about the “blatant lies and violent threats” she suffered as a result of her same-sex relaionship.
“There were the accusations of being a home-wrecker,” she said.
“The ones who said I’d left my ex because I suddenly realized I wanted to be with women — my partners have known what I’m into for as long as I have (so that’s not it, y’all, sorry!)”
However, the actress revealed that she feels very comfortable in the queer community as she has experienced so much “safety, respect, and love in the queer community, as an ally all of my life, that, as I came into myself, I already felt it was my home.”
