Star studded line-up for Children In Need concert in honour of Terry Wogan

There will be a star studded line-up for this year’s Children In Need Concert, which is being held honour of Sir Terry Wogan.

The Limerick native campaigned intensively for the charity since it began in the 1980s and all the money he received for hosting the live concerts and shows he would donate right back to the organisation.

Ellie Goulding, Olly Murs, Take That and The Vamps are just a few of who will be performing at the concert, entitled Children In Need Rocks Wogan.

Joining them will be Rick Astley, American jazz singer Gregory Porter, Michael Ball, Alfie Boe, Alexander Armstrong and country music duo Ward Thomas.

According to the BBC, Fearne Cotton will host the event on the night alongside Greg James with Chris Evans, Joanna Lumley and Ken Bruce also paying tribute to Terry.

The concert will be broadcast live from Westminster Abbey on BBC Radio 2 from noon on November 1st.

Tickets are available from the broadcaster’s website and have a range of prices starting from £27.50 to £71.50.
