Shane Filan surprised Premier League winner Jamie Vardy’s wife – by singing at their wedding.
The footballer and his other half Becky Nicholson tied the knot yesterday in a star-studded ceremony at the Peckforton Castle in Cheshire – but Shane’s performance was the pinnacle of the night.
According to the Daily Mail, after learning that his bride-to-be was a huge Westlife fan, Jamie did the next best thing by flying over Shane Filan to serenade his bride on their big day.

A source told the Irish Daily Mail, “Becky is a huge Westlife fan. She has been to numerous gigs over the years and it was her dream to get them to play at her wedding.”
“While the band is no longer together, Jamie did the next best thing and secretly hired Shane to perform at the reception.
Jamie Vardy reportedly paid Shane a substantial five-figure sum, as he performed a number of Westlife’s greatest hits.

“Shane flew to England yesterday specifically for the gig and performed their first dance song as well as a medley of Westlife hits.
“It is a final surprise for his wife and one that she won’t forget in a hurry,” the source added.
Other stars that attended the bash included Niall Horan’s 1D bandmate Louis Tomlinson, X Factor star Sam Bailey as well as rapper Tinchy Stryder.
