Niall Horan reveals what fans can expect from his debut solo album

The singer is taking a different route than his One Direction days

Niall Horan has revealed what his fans can expect from his debut solo album.

The singer set the tone of his album when he released his debut solo single, This Town, saying that the song was recorded on one mic in one take – and his whole album will be recorded like that.

“All the music is live. I’ve recorded half of it. I’m thinking [a] 11 to 12 song album,” he said.

The Mullingar man admitted that even though he knows the direction of his album, he’s still recording his new music.

“I’m in the middle of recording it. It’s a longer process than recording everything from scratch,” he told E! News.

“I’m still kind of in the writing, recording process. It should be coming soon, I guess.”

Niall also revealed that he still chats to his old bandmates from One Direction and even had a run-in with Zayn Malik at the American Music Awards.

“I was talking to the boys recently, and yeah, we’re big on the e-mail chat, the old e-mail thread. Everyone is great.

“Everyone is just kind of enjoying their time, you know, just chilling and doing their own bits and pieces,” he added.
