The 28-year-old is currently starring the Elf The Musical over Christmas in Dublin’s Bord Gais Energy Theatre, taking over Zooey Deschanel’s role.
And Aoibhinn said it is “exciting” to be able to show her skills off to an Irish audience.
She told Goss.ie: “I’ve obviously done musical theatre before but this extent is a little bit different, it’s so much more commercial and even the interest is so huge.

“And the fact that it’s Christmas people are at home so it’s exciting it’s like everything I’ve done before multiplied by a million.”
It’s definitely a move for the RTE star who has gone from screen to stage, and Aoibhinn knows she has to deal with stamina more than nerves.
She added: “It’s a craft I’ve worked on, it’s definitely being stretched…even having that one extra show a day, it’s really testing your technique and your tired, you have to dig deep.”
But Aoibhinn insisted acting is still her “favourite” and where she is most “comfortable”, the Love/Hate starlet showed she is just as comfortable singing.
Recently, she performed on the Late Late Show ahead of Elf The Musical kicking off.
