Bruno Mars has learned some intense Irish phrases – and the singer is impressed with the passion in our language.
The 31-year-old is set to play Dublin next April and chatted to Eoghan McDermott on his 2FM show ahead of his gig.
“I’d like to teach you some of our native tongue,” Eoghan told Bruno, which he replied, “Bring it to me.”

The DJ taught the international superstar how to say, “Dublin, how are you?” in Irish – but Bruno was a bit more interested in getting the crowd really hyped up.
“How do you say, ‘Ireland, get the f*** up and dance?'” he asked.
The 24K Magic singer loved the Irish translation, so asked the Dubliner to “write that down, that sounds intense. That sounds like we’re ready for war, right there.”
