The trailer for Harry Styles and Florence Pugh’s upcoming thriller ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ has been released.
The film is directed by and stars Olivia Wilde, who is now dating the Watermelon Sugar singer.
The movie is set in the 1950’a in a utopian society in California and follows an unhappy housewife called Alice (Florence) and her husband Jack (Harry), who harbors a dark secret.
Taking to Instagram, Olivia shared a teaser trailer for the upcoming movie to her 4.1 million followers.
She captioned the post: “I’m so proud of this team and can’t wait to show you what we made together. #dontworrydarling”
In the trailer, viewers see seemingly happy couple Alice and Jack attending parties together and packing on the PDA.
In one scene, the couple lay in bed as Florence’s character says: “You and me?” to which Harry’s character Jack replies: “Always. You and me.”
In the utopian society, women in the community stay at home to do household chores while the men go off to work in the town’s company called Victory.
Chris Pine’s character Frank explains: “All of you wives, we men, we ask a lot. We ask for strength. Food at home, a house cleaned. And discretion above all else.”
As the trailer progresses, viewers see Alice question the society she lives in, asking: “What is actually happening? What if this place is dangerous?”
The trailer quickly changed from scenes of glamorous parties to scenes of Alice looking confused and stressed.
Don’t Worry Darling will premiere in cinemas in Ireland on September 23rd.
