Liam Neeson has shut down rumours that there will be a fourth Taken film.

The actor starred as former CIA operative Bryan Mills in the hit film series and the role has gained him hundreds of fans – but don’t hold your breath for another.

“No, there’s not. There’s only so many times your daughter can be taken,” he said.

The Antrim native joked that if they were to film another Taken movie, he wouldn’t expect the daughter to come back.

“Actually if we do have another it will be, ‘Please can you take my daughter?'” he told Stephen Colbert on his CBS show.

However, the intense role is one that Liam won’t shake off anytime soon as he even channels his character at Christmas time.
