The Weeknd has revealed that he may be dropping his stage name.
The singer, real name Abel Tesfaye, says that he likes to keep some mystery between him and his fans.
“I’m not in a rush to let people know everything about me. Mystery is always great.”
He told Harper’s Bazaar. “Luckily, the only thing the world demands of me is music. I don’t have to give them anything else for the rest of my life.”

“Kind of like pulling a Ziggy Stardust. Maybe I’ll retire from being The Weeknd. Maybe I’ll just give him a break.”
The singer is currently dating pop princess Selena Gomez, who recently spoke about their relationship for the very first time.
“I’m taken,” she told Miami’s Power 96.5 FM. “I’m the kind of kind of girl that loves tremendously big. I just have always been that girl,” she explained.
“I will give my heart and my soul to the person that I love. It’s just how I operate. With that comes a lot, you know?,” she added.
