Selena Gomez has broken her silence on an alleged ‘affair’ with JFK’s grandson John Kennedy Schlossberg.
An Instagram fan account for the 31-year-old reposted the rumour and the star who is currently dating music producer Benny Blanco, immediately shut it down.
The original post said: “According to a few tabloids @SelenaGomez and John Kennedy Schlossberg had an affair from 2020 to 2021.”
“The grandson of the US President John Kennedy promised her the White House and she fell for it.”
The Only Murders in the Building star commented on the post and said: “Never met this human sorry.”
The Instagram account responded: “these rumors are CRAZY. well either way love you gurl.”
John is the son of Caroline Kennedy [daughter of JFK and Jackie Onassis] and Edwin Schlossberg and a direct grandson of JFK- former President of the United States.
However, the singer did shock fans in December when she revealed her secret romance with Benny, who is a longtime friend and collaborator of her ex Justin Bieber.
The actress first shared the news when she commented “facts” under a post from fan account Popfaction that said, “Selena Gomez Seemingly Confirms That She Is in a Relationship.”
She also liked Popfaction’s photo titled, “Selena Gomez Is Rumored to Be Dating Producer Benny Blanco.”
In a series of Instagram comments, the songstress proceeded to defend her relationship with Benny, after fans started questioning their romance.
In one comment, Selena gushed that Benny is her “absolute everything,” and claimed he is “the best thing that’s ever happened” to her.
“He is my absolute everything in my heart,” she wrote in one comment, before replying to one fan: “then why has he been the best thing that’s ever happened to me. The end.”
