Batwoman actress Ruby Rose has revealed that she underwent life altering surgery which put her at risk of paralysis.
The model turned actress underwent emergency surgery after a stunt for the Batwoman TV show went wrong, causing her to herniate two discs.
She revealed that the damage came close to severing her spinal cord.
The actress was left in “chronic pain,” and chose to document her surgery journey in a video uploaded to Instagram.
The video is graphic and includes full depictions of the star’s surgery.
“To anyone asking why I let them video it…. Did you not watch that Greys anatomy episode where they left a towel in a patient??” she joked in the caption.
“To everyone asking about my new Pez dispenser scar on my neck… A couple of months ago I was told I needed an emergency surgery or I was risking becoming paralyzed… I had herniated two discs doing stunts.”

The actress has been recovering from her surgery for the past few months.
