Ashley Graham has stripped off for the new issue of V magazine.
The model posed nude for the publication, wearing just a see-through mesh top in one of the steamy photos, and pulling a T-shirt over her head in the other.
Ashley was interviewed by Tracee Ellis Ross, and discussed her confidence – praising her mother for giving her a positive body image when she was insecure as an adolescent.
“I remember my first signs of cellulite, in middle school,” she said. “I remember telling my mom ‘Isn’t it disgusting? It’s so ugly.’ She pulled her pants down and said, ‘Look, I have it, too. And I was like, ‘Gasp!’”
Ashley added: “She looked at me, then at it, and just rolled her eyes. She didn’t tell me that it’s beautiful or ugly. She just made it a nonissue.”
The 29-year-old grew up idolising curvy stars such as Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez, and still credits her mother as one of her biggest role models.
“Just seeing how happy she has been going through [life] and how she’s handled every curveball is like, that’s a women who has integrity and dignity and has been kind and generous to people around her,” she said.
Ashley became the first plus-size model to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated last year, and earlier this year she was the first plus-size model to land covers of US and British Vogue.
