Meghan Trainor has revealed her newborn son had a “rocky start” in the hospital.
The singer welcomed her first child with her husband Daryl Sabara on February 8, a baby boy named Riley.
Sharing a video of the newborn to her TikTok, the 27-year-old showed clips of her baby hooked up to various tubes and wires.
The new mum wrote: “We had a rocky start.. but Riley is perfect, happy and healthy 💙 so lucky to be your mama sweet boy.”

In the clip, Meghan also showed herself crying as she FaceTimed the newborn from another room.
The video concludes with Riley being handed to his mother, who cradles him close to her chest.
Announcing Riley’s birth via Instagram, the All About That Bass singer wrote: “This sweet baby boy’s due date was today on Valentine’s Day
We got to meet him Monday, Feb 8th!”
