Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s tell-all interview with Oprah has scored massive ratings.

The 90-minute special first aired in the US on Sunday night, with CBS revealing 17.1 million people tuned in.

The bombshell interview aired in the UK and Ireland on Monday night, with more than 11 million viewers watching on ITV.

725,000 viewers watched the explosive interview on RTÉ2, making it the most watched programme on the channel so far this year by far.

A further 100k viewers have streamed the special on RTÉ Player so far.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex discussed everything from their relationship with the Royal family, to their decision to leave the UK.

Meghan bravely opened up about feeling suicidal while pregnant with her first child Archie, claiming that she asked for help but was told “it wouldn’t be good for the institution”.

Harry discussed his relationships with his father Prince Charles and his brother Prince William, admitting he is working on “healing” the relationships.
