Megan Fox has poignantly stated that men “will drain you”, following the end of her engagement to Machine Gun Kelly.
The actress confirmed last month that she and the rapper’s engagement had come to an end, after an on-again-off-again three-year relationship.
The 37-year-old was asked by E! News at Coachella if there was any advice she would give to those wanting to have a “hot girl summer” this year.
Megan jokingly admitted she probably wasn’t the best person to ask.
She said: “Just learn a skill or develop a hobby and do not waste your energy on boys.”
“All they’re gonna do is drain you. Just move on. Invest in yourself,” the star added.
Megan and MGK went public with their romance in June 2020, and announced their engagement in January 2022.
Last month, the actress appeared on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, and while she didn’t reveal the current status of their relationship, she confirmed that their engagement had come to an end.
However, there has been speculation that the pair are back together, with MGK commenting on the clip of Megan’s answer saying: “PREACH.”
The comment has since been deleted, adding to the confusion felt around the couples relationship status.
Host Alex asked on the podcast: “I feel like everyone has such an opinion on your guys relationship.
“You got engaged, then I think it was called off, then we don’t know what’s going on with you. How would you describe your relationship with MGK?”
The actress responded: “I think that what I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption, so I think as of now, I don’t have a comment on like the status of the relationship per say.”
