Lizzo has broken her silence following the announcement that she “quits.”
In her statement, the singer revealed: “I’m starting to feel like the world doesn’t want me in it.”
The 35-year-old sent fans into a frenzy on Friday as they believed she was quitting the music industry.

However, Lizza has now cleared up the confusion in a video posted to her Instagram.
The singer reassured fans and said: ” I wanna make this video because I want to clarify, when I said I quit, I mean I quit giving any negative energy my attention.”
“What I’m not gonna quit is the joy of my life which is making music and connecting to people.”
“I know Im not alone, in no way shape or form am I the only person who is experiencing that negative voice that seems to be louder than the positive.”
“If i can just give one person the inspiration or motivation to stand up for themselves and say they quit letting negative people win, letting negative comments win, then I’ve done even more than i could hope for.”
“With that being said, I’m going to keep moving forward and keep being me.”
“Once again, i just wanna say thank you for the love that I’ve received, it means more than you know.”
