Kim Kardashian is being sued for $100 million

Ouch!

Kim Kardashian is being sued for at least $100million, over her hugely successful Kimoji app.

According to TMZ, developer David Liebensohn has claimed that he previously teamed up with Kim to create the app – and she allegedly agreed that he and his partners would take 60per cent of profits.

David has also claimed that he named the Kimoji app, but Kim was the one to register the trademark.

After the reality star filed the Kimoji trademark in 2014, David has alleged that she contacted him to back out of the deal, because one of his partners had shared her personal information.

The mother-of-three is being sued for $100 million for fraud, breach of contract, and the profits David believes he would have made from Kimoji.

According to reports, Kim’s legal team tried to settle the case back in 2014, but David declined their offer of $150,000 and 5per cent of future profits.

Kim’s lawyer, Marty Singer, has since told TMZ, “The lawsuit filed against Kim Kardashian is ridiculous and absurd. The parties entered into a binding settlement agreement 2014 in which Kim gave up multi-million dollar claims against Mr. Liebensohn and his partners.”

“Mr. Liebensohn waited more than 4 years to claim the agreement wasn’t binding on him. Kim commenced an arbitration in December 2018, and after Mr. Liebensohn was unsuccessful in stopping the arbitration he filed this meritless lawsuit. We feel very confident we will get the case dismissed.”
