Johnny Depp described as a ‘train wreck’ on Pirates of The Caribbean 5 set

Johnny Depp was reportedly a “train wreck” on the set of Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Lies back in 2015.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 53-year-old agitated plenty of cast and crew members during his time on set on Australia, as he was said to be under immense “pressure” during his controversial relationship with wife Amber Heard, who he split from in May 2016.

Speaking about the environment Johnny was living in, producer Jerry Bruckheimer revealed, “You’ve got to understand the kind of pressure Johnny was under in Australia. At times helicopters would follow him home. There would be so many media outside his gates that trucks were feeding them.”

Sources close to the production claim that the actor was frequently late to the set, which meant hundreds of extras and crew were left waiting for hours.

The source added, |Everyone was an innocent bystander watching this train wreck, but when Johnny came on set, he was charming, nice. He’s yin and yang.”

The news comes after Johnny is currently locked in a legal battle with his former business manager after he accused them of “gross misconduct”.

However, the former managers have denied the allegations, and are now countersuing the star.
