Euphoria star Hunter Schafer confirms her past romance with singer Rosalía

Euphoria star Hunter Schafer has confirmed her past romance with singer Rosalía.

The 25-year-old revealed that she dated the Motomami singer for five months in 2019.

However, the two women have remained “friends” despite going their separate ways.

The actress opened up about her previous relationship in an interview with GQ and said “I have really beautiful friendships with people that I was once romantically involved with.”

Hunter also added that Rosalía is “family no matter what.”

The couple were first linked together in the Autumn and Winter of 2019 but never confirmed or denied their relationship status.

Hunter added: “It’s been so much speculation for so long. Part of us just wants to get it over with,”

While noting that she and the singer believe it’s nobody’s business she added: “it’s something I’m happy to share, and I think she feels that way too.”

The actress also opened up about her ex-boyfriend and Euphoria co-star Dominic Fike.

“I had had so many sh—- experiences with men before, not from dating them, but just in life,” she admitted.

“I think I had built up a wall that was way too thick around them — and then I fell in love.”

The 25-year-old also admitted that their relationship allowed her to “work through a lot of the feelings of disdain that I had towards men as a whole.”

“I think it had inhibited a lot of my friendships with men, and a lot of that came down as well. I had a really beautiful relationship with (Dominic Fike), and it really opened me up in that way,” she said.

The actress also opened up about her transition and revealed why she doesn’t like speaking about it in interviews.

“Especially after high school, I was sick of talking about it. I worked so hard to get to where I am, past these really hard points in my transition, and now I just want to be a girl and finally move on,” Hunter said.

“I know for a fact that I’m one of the most famous trans people in media right now, and I do feel a sense of responsibility, and maybe a little bit of guilt, for not being more of a spokesperson, but ultimately, I really do believe that not making it the centerpiece to what I’m doing will allow me to get further,” she revealed.

“And I think getting further and doing awesome shit, in the interest of ‘the movement,’ will be way more helpful than talking about it all the time,” she concluded.
