Red Rock stars were out in force as they joined fellow actors for the opening night of Druid’s The Beauty Queen of Leenane at The Gaiety Theatre.
Red Rock’s Denise McCormack, India Mullen, Chris Newman, Cathy Belton and Darren Cahill took time out from their busy filming schedule for the special opening night.
Also spotted was actors Sean McGinley, Orla Brady and Pat Nolan as well as Morah Ryan and UTV’s Jenny Buckley.

The Beauty Queen of Leenane by Martin McDonagh, is set in the mountains of Connemara and tells the story of Maureen Folan, a plain and lonely woman in her early 40s, and Mag, her manipulative, aging mother.
Mag’s interference in Maureen’s first and potentially last romantic relationship sets in motion a chain of events that are as tragically funny as they are horrific.
Garry Hynes directs the production with the stellar cast of Marie Mullen, Aisling O’Sullivan, Marty Rea and Aaron Monaghan.
