Model Lisa Madden has been left disappointed after losing at Miss Universe –Â to Miss Columbia, Paulina Vega.
The AR model had been working hard over the past three weeks attending photoshoots, events and launches as part of her pageant duties.
However, the former Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model contestant’s efforts weren’t enough to set her apart from her competition, and failed to make it in the Top 15.

The odds weren’t looking good for the dentistry student who had been placed at 50/1 by bookmakers ahead of the pageant finals.
The stunning model had been keen to make Ireland proud posting a message before she took to the stage.
“The time has come.. Tonight I represent Ireland on the main stage and could not be more honoured ! Here’s hoping that I do ye all proud #missuniverse #MissIreland #FUI”

Despite her hopes, Lisa failed to make the impact she wanted even though she did impress the judges and Mr Trump.
Lisa now joins the list of past Miss Universe Irelands which include Rozanna Purcell and Lynn Kelly.
