Lending a helping hand to charity this past bank holiday weekend, fashionista Lisa Cannon parted with her favourite wardrobe staples however it seems her show-stopping VIP Style Awards gown wasn’t one she could shift.
Raising funds for the Armada Support for Nepal Campaign alongside a host of other famous names, Lisa took to the stalls to sell her clothing for the great cause however according to VIP Magazine although her Vera Wang dress drew a lot of admirers it failed to sell.
“The Vera Wang dress certainly drew lots of attention with many posing for a picture with the guna but unfortunately nobody matched the opening bid on the day,” said event organiser and former Fair City actress Aoibhinn Garrihy.

“However all the other celebrity dresses were sold, the raffle was a huge success and the crowds came in their droves, bringing the total figure raised for the Armada Support for Nepal Campaign figure to €12,000 and rising yesterday evening.”
The TV presenter’s fashion choice at the awards caused a divide amongst style watchers with fashionistas taking a love/hate stance over her designer gown.
The bubbly brunette is said to be wearing Vera Wang for her wedding so we’ll wait with bated breath to see how the style brigade flock to it.
