Daniel O’Donnell superfan Molly-Kate Sloyan has admitted she got a “fierce slagging” for her appearance on last Friday’s Late Late Show.
Overcome with disappointment when she realised her country idol wasn’t on the Valentine’s special but instead impersonator Mario Rosenstock posing as him, Molly-Kate’s hilarious reaction went viral.
“I had no idea the cameras were on me during the Late Late Show and I’ve no filter on my face, all my friends know that, so afterwards they gave me a fierce slagging,” she told the Irish Daily Mail.
“I genuinely had no clue until after the show that I appeared on screen until we were out in Lillie’s Bordello and people were saying they’d seen me.”
Meanwhile, there was a silver lining to Molly-Kate’s woes as Daniel invited her and a friend to his Killarney concert.
