Damien Dempsey has been seen on the set of upcoming Irish crime movie Cardboard Gangsters.
The Donaghmede native was spotted wearing a leg cast while shooting the film in Darndale in Dublin.
However the famous singer is no stranger to the big screen having made his acting debut in 2011 starring in Between the Canals.

Film maker Mark O’Connor directed Between the Canals and is reported to be working with the Irish singer again for the new crime film.
According to the Herald, Damien will be starring in the movie alongside Love/Hate star John Connors and Steven Clinch.
The crime based drama is centered on a group of young gangsters who attempt to gain power of the drug-trade in Dublin.
Meanwhile, Conor McGregor will reportedly be making an appearance in the upcoming movie.
