The Noble actress has been shortlisted for a new X Men spin-off movie called Deadpool, based on the character originally featured in the hit movie franchise.
The Cork star, who is dating Hobbit actor Aidan Turner, is up against some other strong female actors for the coveted role.

Homeland star Morena Baccarin has also been shortlisted for the role, as well as Orange Is The New Black star Taylor Schilling and Dracula actress Jessica De Gouw, according to Deadline.com.
This would be Sarah’s first female lead role in a Hollywood movie, having starred in big TV shows like Vikings and Penny Dreadful.
